Introducing our new youth director:

Heather Ghormley

Grew up: Born in Pasadena, California.
Grew up in Kansas City and a small town called Quincy, Illinois.

College: Wheaton College

Currently lives: New Haven, Connecticut, but moving in June to South Bend, Indiana!

Most recent jobs: After living for a while in China, Justus and Heather both started seminary at Yale Divinity School in New Haven. Heather received her Masters of Divinity from Yale last year and has been working this year as a theology professor's assistant, an English professor, and as an editor for the Dictionary of African Christian Biography.

Likes to do for fun: When she's not at work, she spends a lot of time with her family (obviously), with her friends and with the people in their inner city Hispanic church. For fun she loves to have good talks with all sorts of people; read novels and poetry; write fiction, poetry and plays; bake bread; go on hikes in the woods; play the guitar and piano; make art; play crazy games; figure out the world; windsurf (when she gets the chance); hang out with teenagers and surf Facebook.
