During most of the academic year, SBCRC offers Church School for everyone. Please click here to see the schedule for church school for children up to fifth grade. Please click here for church school for middle and high school.

For adults, we usually offer one, periodically two church school options. These begin at 9:15 on Sunday morning, and go until about 10:10. Coffee is served! Please note, there will be no church school December 25 or January 1.

Our current church school offering is:

January 29 Mark Noll: Who is Abraham Kuyper? And Why Should You Care?
Mark Noll will lead discussions on Richard J. Mouw's recent book "Abraham Kuyper: A Short and Personal Introduction." Kuyper was Dutch pastor and prime minister who brought Reformed principles into public life in the late 1800's. The following well-known quote is a good summary of his perspective: "There is not a square inch in the whole domain of our human existence over which Christ, who is sovereign over all, does not cry 'Mine!'"

On each of the 4 Sundays of February we will watch and discuss Gospel in Life: Grace Changes Everything, a DVD study by Tim Keller, senior pastor of Redeemer Presbyterian Church in New York. Keller is the bestselling author of The Prodigal God and The Reason for God.
Next week (Feb. 5) Bill Svelmoe will lead the discussion on “The City, The World That Is.” If the Jews, brought to Babylon in chains by a violent oppressor, were told to see themselves as agents of that city’s peace and prosperity (Jer. 29:7), then surely we are! What specific ministry purposes might God have for us in our city?
