High schoolers meet in the high school youth room, 9:15-10:15am Sunday mornings. After successfully completing a year-and-a-half adventure with the Heidelberg Catechism, the high school class is now studying the prophets Amos and Hosea with Justus Ghormley. Starting in March, Alex Arnold will lead the class through a study of the Gospel of Matthew.
As a congregation, we want to come alongside middle and high school students to help them learn how to love Jesus and follow Him in their every day lives of home, school, and beyond. We do this through challenging their head, heart, and hands. At SBCRC you will see the youth involved in the worship services, serving with adults as children’s worship teachers and nursery workers, meeting with adult mentors one on one, having fun playing large group games, studying the Word at church school and in small groups, serving at soup kitchens, going on trips and much more. | |
