Hope Ministries
The youth volunteers to serve meals for Hope Ministires the first Saturday of every month from 10:30 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. This year, we ask that two familes sign up to serve each Saturday we are scheduled.  Mary Brown shops for the meals and the food is at church on the Saturday morning of our service.  Please contact Brooke or Sally if you, your family and friends are interested in serving!

30 Hour Famine
Each year, the middle and high school students help end hunger world-wide by raising money to support World Vision by fasting for 30 hours. We spend most of these 30 hours together, having fun, learning about hunger, doing community service, praying, and getting to know each other. This year our 30 Hour Famine will be March 6 & 7, 2009! Don't miss this great event!

At SBCRC
Additionally, the youth at our church helps serve Mosaic meals and participates in various ministries throughout the life of the church, including helping in the nurseries, teaching children's worship, serving coffee, and running the sound equipment.

Youth Leaders

As a congregation, we want to come alongside middle and high school students to help them learn how to love Jesus and follow Him in their every day lives of home, school, and beyond. We do this through challenging their head, heart, and hands. At SBCRC you will see the youth involved in the worship services, serving with adults as children’s worship teachers and nursery workers, meeting with adult mentors one on one, having fun playing large group games, studying the Word at church school and in small groups, serving at soup kitchens, going on trips and much more.
